Illinois Wesleyan junior
Andrea Kerwin has been chosen to the second team of the 2012 All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin women's tennis squads on Monday (Oct. 22).
Kerwin was a first team all-CCIW selection as a sophomore and a second team all-CCIW choice as a freshman, and has been the Titans' "Most Valuable Player" both of her first two seasons.
Kerwin was 6-9 overall in singles this fall, including a 3-4 record at No. 1 singles. After two seasons Kerwin has a 34-22 singles record
The 2012 tournament No. 1 singles champion Kim Sawyer of Augustana earned CCIW "Player of the Year" honors while Augustana's Krista Panko was named the "Most Valuable Player" at the 2012 CCIW Women's Tennis Championships. Elmhurst's Annie Duggan took home CCIW "Newcomer of the Year" honors while Wheaton's Jane Nelson was named the CCIW "Coach of the Year".
