T.J. Luby finished 28th overall as the Illinois Wesleyan men's cross country team finished 11th of 32 squads at the Illinois Intercollegiates, held at Illinois State University in Normal on Sept. 16. The Titans were fourth among Division III teams.
IWU had 304 points as the overall team champion was Division III and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin power North Central with 48 points. The University of Chicago (153 points) in fifth place and Augustana (154 points) in sixth place were the other Division III teams ahead of Illinois Wesleyan.
Luby had a time of 25:16 to lead Illinois Wesleyan in the 323-runner field while senior
Max Lustick was 30th with a time of 25:18. Sophomore
Bobby Castillo was 71st with a time of 25:56 and sophomore
Aaron Smith finished 80th with a time of 26:04.
