Box Score 2 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team ended its Colorado trip with an impressive three-game sweep of perennial national power LaVerne on Sat., Sept. 4. The Titans ended their play in the Molten Volleyball Pikes Peak Classic with a 1-3 record.

Stephanie Buhrow led IWU with 14 kills and a .765 hitting percentage. Senior
Teresa Kirk had nine kills while senior
Lori Johnson had eight. As a team, IWU had a .319 hitting percentage with 47 kills.
In 2009, the Leopards were in the top 25 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches' Poll for the 10th consecutive year.
Hassinger had 37 assists and seven digs while freshman
Miya Thalman led the team with 14 defensive digs. Kirk also added eight digs with four service aces and freshman
