Illinois Wesleyan 8, MacMurray 0 - Box Score

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team pasted MacMurray, 8-0, at Neis Field on Monday, Sept. 27.

Seven Titans scored goals in the game and sophomore Tim Griffin had two, including one just 2:06 into the match against the undermanned Highlanders (0-7-0).

Nearly two minutes later, at 4:04, Brice Humpolick scored an unassisted goal and the Titans made it 3-0 when Stewart Turner Jackson scored unassisted at 8:29.

Angelo Catalano collected his first goal of the year at 44:58 on a corner kick assist from Jesse Corkin and Sam Peniak made the score 5-0 with his unassisted tally just 22 seconds into the second period.

Titan goals from Griffin (51:16 on assists from Nick Jefferson and Kyle Gorgol), Frank Marchiori (52:02) and Agassi Bagramyan (65:43) put the finishing touches on the contest.

IWU hosts Principia at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Neis Field.
