Sean Johnson and junior center
Doug Sexauer were chosen as co-"Most Valuable Players for the 2009-10 Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team.
Johnson led the Titans with a 17.0 scoring average and connected on a team-high 75 3-point field goals. He also led the team with an .811 free throw percentage, connecting on 103 of 127 attempts. He was named to the second team of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin all-star squads.
Sexauer, a first team all-CCIW selection, was named to the first team of the D3hoops.com all-Midwest region squad and the second team of all-region team named by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
He averaged 15.6 points per game and a team-high 5.8 rebounds per game. He shot .621 from the field (211 of 340), the fifth best single season effort in Illinois Wesleyan history.
The Titans finished with a 23-8 record and advanced to the final eight in the NCAA Division III men's basketball championships.
