Ryan Dorner and senior
Matt Wennmaker were chosen as the co-winners of the "Most Valuable Player" honor for the 2009-10 Illinois Wesleyan men's golf team.
Wennmaker, who was a third team PING Division III All-American, was an all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection, along with sophomore
Dex Reese and Dorner, who was the CCIW tournament champion.
Wennmaker tied for 74th in the 2010 NCAA Division III championships in Hershey, Pa., and was second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championships in May.
A member of the Division III Central region team and one-time winner of the CCIW "Golfer of the Week" award, Wennmaker had a four-year career scoring average of 75.6 in 73 rounds at IWU.
Dorner took home CCIW medalist honors, winning with a four-day score of 297, one stroke ahead of Wennmaker. Reese finished with a 306 and was fourth.

Doug Keller were the co-captains of the 2009-10 team and Dorner has been elected as the captain for the 2010-11 squad.
The Titans, who finished 15th in the NCAA Division III championships, will return six lettermen next season. The 2009-10 letterwinners are:
