Illinois Wesleyan senior
Matt Wennmaker was named to the third team of the PING Division III All-America squads, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America following the NCAA Championships.
Wennmaker (Oregon, Ill., HS) tied for 74th in last week's NCAA Division III championships in Hershey, Pa., and was second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championships in May.
A member of the Division III Central region team and one-time winner of the CCIW "Golfer of the Week" award, Wennmaker had a four-year career scoring average of 75.6 in 73 rounds at IWU.
Chase Blaich of Huntingdon, Skidmore's Chris DeJohn, Mitchell Fedorka of LaVerne, Methodist's Trey Howell and Josh Schrader, LaGrange's Hudson Keener, Peter Latimer of Guilford, Tain Lee of Claremont McKenna, Susquehanna's Mitch Mercer and Centre's Chris Morris were first-team honorees.
Second-team selections included Guilford's Brian Creghan, Hunter Frazier of Transylvania, Emory's Ryan Dagerman, Mark Giorgi and Ben Vangsness of Saint John's, Methodist's Josh Speight and Greensboro's Ben Nihart.
