BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan junior Ryan Dorner was named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin "Men's Golfer of the Week" on Wednesday, April 21.

Dorner finished four-under par for the week, shooting a 70 in both the first and second rounds of the CCIW Men's Golf Championship over the weekend at the par 72, 6632-yard Country Club of Decatur (Ill). He is the leader at the halfway point and is six shots ahead of the second place individual.

The CCIW Men's Golf Championship will conclude April 30-May 1 at the Bolingbrook (Ill.) Golf Club.

A business major who attended Glenbrook South High School, Ryan is the son of Tim and Patti Dorner of Glenview, Ill.
