A number of Illinois Wesleyan distance runners competed in the Eastern Illinois University Big Blue Classic on Friday, April 2.

Junior Kirsten Pufahl placed third in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 39:30.50.

Also in the 10,000, senior Katelyn Draths was fourth (40:08.40) and senior Jenny Johnson was fifth (40:10.60).

In the men's 10,000, sophomore #T.J. Luby# was fourth in a time of 33:29.90, while junior Keith Lehuta was ninth (34:19.09) and sophomore Paul Kwak was 11th (34:31.29).

Senior Kerry Devitt placed second in the 3000 meter steeplechase with her time of 11:46.05 and freshman teammate Mandy Kompanowski was third at 12:08.92.
