Solari on Two All-America Teams, Schulte Honorable Mention

Titans Finish No. 6 in Both D-III Polls

Illinois Wesleyan senior Christina Solari was chosen to the second team of the D3hoops.com Division III All-American squad and she and junior Hope Schulte both earned honorable mention on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and State Farm® All-America team.

Solari led the Titans with 13.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. She shot .567 from the field (144 of 254) and made a team-high 88 steals.

Schulte averaged 11.7 points per game and had 82 steals.

The Titans, who finished 28-2, were ranked No. 6 in both the final D3hoops.com poll and the end of season ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll.

Hope College junior Carrie Snikkers was chosen as the "Player of the Year" by both entities. Nancy Fahey of national champion Washington U. was the "Coach of the Year" according to D3hoops.com while G.P. Gromacki of Amherst College was selected as the RUSSELL ATHLETIC/WBCA national NCAA Division III "Coach of the Year."

The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and State Farm announced the 2010 Division III State Farm Coaches' All-America Team on March 18. The 10-member team was selected by a vote of the selection committee. The committee is comprised of one representative from each of the eight geographical regions and a chairperson.
