NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's team finished fifth (of 24) and the men's team was seventh (of 25) in the college division at the Illinois Intercollegiate cross country meet, run Sept. 18 at Illinois State University.
The women had 119 points and the winning team, Chicago, amassed only 60. The Titans were led by the fourth place finish of senior
Kerry Devitt, who covered the course in 18:40.
Liz Ave Maria finished eighth in 18:58,
Elise Anderson was 24th with a time of 19:29 and senior
Mackenzie Clemens was 36th with her time of 19:42.
For the men,
Wally Farris had a time of 25:52 to finish 18th as the Titans accumulated 197 points. The winning team was North Central at 33.
