Three finishers in the top 10 propelled the Illinois Wesleyan women's team to a first-place finish in the college division race at the Bradley University Open at Detweiller Park in Peoria on Sept. 11.

Senior Kerry Devitt placed third with a time of 18:28, Liz Ave Maria was fifth with her time of 19:00 and senior Mackenzie Clemens rounded out the top 10 with a run of 19:32. All five IWU scorers were in the top 16.

The Illinois Wesleyan men's team, paced by a tenth-place showing by junior Wally Farris with his time of 25:40, took second in the college division race behind North Central, which swept the top five spots. The Titans' T.J. Luby finished 18th with his time of 26:25.
