BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Junior Christy Engel pitched a no-hitter and scored the only run of the game as Illinois Wesleyan won its opening game of the NCAA Division III first round regional at IWU Field on May 7.

The Titans improved to 35-4 with the win and will play Alma College (28-11) at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 8. The Scots were 4-1 winners over Concordia (Wis.) in their first game.

The Titans got their only run in the third when, with one out, Engel doubled to left center and senior centerfielder Monica Urban followed with a double to centerfield to drive home Engel. Val Hackett had three of the Titans' six hits.
