Oehrlein Repeats as CCIW "Player of the Week"

For the second week in a row, Illinois Wesleyan senior Paul Oehrlein was named the men's tennis "Player of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin on Tuesday, April 21.

Oehrlein, a senior math & economics major from Des Plaines, Ill. (Maine West HS), had four wins and two losses in doubles and singles during the past week.
He lost at No. 1 doubles and a tight No. 3 singles match against Danny Glinert of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 7-5, 6-7(5), 10-5. He then went undefeated the rest of the week with No. 1 doubles wins over J.T. Delk and Sammy Ramoni of Carthage (8-4), and Chris Mullin and Adam DeSimone of Augustana (8-6).
He also earned a No. 3 singles victories of 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 over Delk, and a 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 win over DeSimone.
