Illinois Wesleyan senior Paul Oehrlein was named the "Player of the Week" for men's tennis in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin on Tuesday, April 14.

Oehrlein (Des Plaines, Ill., Maine West HS) went undefeated ton Saturday, April 11, in both doubles and singles as the team defeated Beloit, 9-0, and Lawrence, 8-1. The Titans have now won six straight matches.

Playing at No. 2 singles, Oehrlein won against Evan Orman of Beloit, 6-0, 6-4, then claimed a win over Kazunari Kishida of Lawrence by scores of 6-3, 6-2.

He paired with senior Dan Chang at No. 1 doubles to claim victories of 8-1 over the Beloit team of Ormain and Alex Sterett and of 8-4 against the duo of Ryan Dunn and Travis Fondow from Lawrence.
