All former Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball players and managers are invited back to celebrate 100 years of intercollegiate men's basketball on January 9, 2010, when the Titans face Carthage at 4:30 p.m.
Both the IWU women and men open their home College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin slate that day with the women facing Carthage at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game against the Red Men. Alumni basketball players will be introduced at halftime of the men's game by former coach
Dennie Bridges.
Following the doubleheader, the McLean County Alumni Association invites the public to join the returning men's basketball alumni at dinner in the Shirk Center practice gym.

Now in its 101st season, Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball had a record of 1460 wins against 830 losses for a .638 winning percentage through its first century of competition. Coached by Fred Muhl and with captain F.R. Kerley, IWU had a 3-2 record in its first intercollegiate season of 1909-10.
