A Bloomington (Ill.) High School graduate, Billy Dicken is in his third season as a full-time assistant coach at IWU but it is his 11th overall year as a Titan assistant.
In 2009, he was wide receiver coach at Division II Eastern New Mexico and the Greyhounds were was the national leader with 448 passing yards per game.
As quarterback at Purdue, he was first team all-Big Ten in 1997 and was "Outstanding Offensive Player" in the Alamo Bowl. He tied Purdue's game marks with five TD passes and 60 attempts.
Among the Arena Football League teams he has played for include the Columbus Destroyers and New Orleans VooDoo and also played for the Detroit Fury, Chicago Rush, Quad City Steamwheelers and the Hamilton Tiger Cats (Canadian Football League).
A 2008 graduate of Illinois State, he has a master’s degree from Eastern New Mexico in Sports Administration. Bill and his wife, Jessica, were married in May 2010.
