In 2024-25, Andy Etheridge is in his 11th year as an Illinois Wesleyan University basketball assistant.

During Etheridge's 10 season at Illinois Wesleyan (2014-24), the Titans have produced a 169-85 overall record (.665) and a 102-50 (.671) College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin record. The Titans have made three NCAA Division III tournament appearances, highlighted by a run to the Elite Eight in 2022. IWU claimed the 2018, 2022, and 2024 CCIW Regular Season Championships. The team has been consistently in the top-25 during Etheridge's 10 seasons. IWU has been ranked in the top-25 in each of Etheridge's 10 seasons, including in the top-10 during 2014-15, 2018-19, 2020-21, 2021-22 seasons, and reaching as high as second in the nation in 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Etheridge played a critical role in the development of 2022 CCIW Fred Young Most Outstanding Player, Matthew Leritz. In his senior season, Leritz reeled in just about every award he could. Named a First Team All-American by D3hoops and the NABC, Leritz averaged a near double-double with 17.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg. Off the court, Leritz was named CoSIDA's Division III Men's Basketball Academic All-America of the Year and was also a finalist for the Josten's Award.

Other duties for Etheridge at IWU include recruiting coordinator, scouting opponents, travel coordinator, fundraising, and alumni relations.

Before his arrival at Illinois Wesleyan, Etheridge spent five seasons in various roles assisting the University of Illinois basketball team. From 2012-14, he was the Graduate Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator for the Fighting Illini.

Etheridge earned his bachelor's degree in marketing in 2012 and masters of education in education policy, organization, and leadership in 2014 at the University of Illinois.

He previously played basketball four years at Normal Community High School before graduating in 2008.
